Finding a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator

A licensed wildlife rehabilitator can be found on the Mass Wildlife website. Please click on the link at the bottom of this section. Be aware that many wildlife rehabilitators have full time jobs and might not receive the call until they return home from work. Be sure to leave a clear voice mail message whenever possible.

It is important to know that wildlife rehabilitators generally specialize in certain species. The wildlife rehabilitator closest to you might only care for birds while you have a raccoon in need of placement. Be sure to contact multiple wildlife rehabilitators if you are not certain the one closest to you accepts your species.
